FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What minimum technical requirement is needed to access ENeA Moodle?

You should have a computer with internet access. To work efficiently, a fast internet connection is useful (broadband, LTE) and you should use an up-to-date browser (e.g. Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome) with Java and Flash installed or a videoplayer who is capable of playing .mp4-files.

What are the costs of registering?

ENeA is completely free of charge.

How do I register?

Please click on the registration link. There you will be asked to fill out the New Account form with your details. An e-mail will be immediately sent to your e-mail address. Please access this e-mail and click on the web link it contains. Your account will then be confirmed and you will be logged in.

I cannot register because the reCAPTCHA word is not recognized.

If you couldn’t distinguish one or both of the words: please click on “Get another CAPTCHA” to get new words.

What is reCAPTCHA and why do I have to fill in those hard-to-read words?

CAPTCHA is a program that can tell whether the user is a human or a computer. CAPTCHAs are used by many websites to prevent abuse from bots, or automated programs, usually written to generate spam. No computer program can read distorted text as well as humans can, so bots cannot navigate sites protected by CAPTCHAs.

I didn't receive a confirmation mail.

Sometimes the confirmation e-mail gets stuck in the SPAM folder or fails to be delivered correctly. If you didn't get a confirmation mail: please contact us via the contact form at the bottom of the page.

How do I log in?

Please go to the ENeA Moodle Homepage and fill in your username and password at the login-box on the top corner of the right side.

I forgot my username/password.

Please click on “Forgotten your username or password?” link at the login page. There you can fill in your username or e-mail address and receive instructions on how to gain access again.

Why can't I log into ENeA Moodle?

There could be many reasons, but the most probable is you have simply forgotten your password, are typing the wrong one or are entering it incorrectly. Some other things to think about include:

•    Does your username or password contain a mixture of upper and lower case letters? Your password and log-in are case-sensitive.

•    Are cookies enabled in your browser?

How do I gain access to the modules/units?

Please look for "All courses" at the left hand navigation block and click on the module/unit you wish to access. A button with "Enrol me" will appear in the middle of the page. Once you have clicked on the button and are enrolled in a unit it will appear under "My courses" any time that you are logged in.

How do I jump between modules/units?

•    With the "My courses" block on the left side

•    Via the "All courses" block

What is a module, what is a unit?

An ENeA module deals with one main topic from the field of early nutrition. One module consists of typically three to five units which are subdivided into several lessons or ”themes“ and cover the most important and relevant aspects.

How much time do I have to complete a unit/module?

There are no time restrictions in completing units or modules. You are completely free to schedule your learning time as you wish and need.

In case of any malfunction or broken links please contact us via the contact form at the bottom of the page.

How can I get back to the homepage?

Please use the navigation bar top left of the page or click on the ENeA logo at the top of the page.

Can everybody on ENeA see my contact details?

One of the key features of e-learning is fostering the interaction of the users among themselves. However,  we configured ENeA so that Learners may only directly contact Learners they know by name. There is no list of Learners which is accessible to other Learners. Learners can choose whether or not to use the discussion forums available and establish contact with other Learners there.

Why am I not getting any e-mails while others are?

Chances are your email address in your profile is either entered incorrectly or disabled. It could also be that you are not subscribed to the forums that are generating emails.

How can I  reduce the number of e-mails I receive?
E-mails are an essential part of  how Moodle  functions. They are used to keep you up to date with what is going on. If you wish to reduce the amount of emails you get you could:
•       Edit your profile and change your e-mail settings to digest.

I cannot view the videos.

In order to watch the videos please click either on the picture of the video or on the linked text below. Please note that you need to have either Adobe Flashplayer or a videoplayer capable of playing .mp4-files installed on your computer/smartphone/tablet (links to install Flashplayer are provided when clicking on "Flashplayer needed").

Why didn't I receive a CME certificate?

There are two reasons why when you completed a CME test you didn't receive the certificate:

•    Did you answer less than 70% of the answers correctly? - CME credits are only awarded when 70% or more of the answers are correct.

•    Did you fill in your personal information? - The certificate can only be created when your personal information (Name and address, and Medical  Association - for German physicians also the EFN number) is complete. Please go to your Profile page and update your information.
